We liked the bit when….
It would have been even better if….
We returned to Hope School at 11.45pm! Although our flight was delayed for 2 hours, many people travelling on our airplane commented on how well the pupils behaved.
Hope everyone had a great time! Huge thanks to the British School of Amsterdam for helping to organise the trip and hosting us so superbly.
On the last day we went or a bike ride in the Amsterdamse Bos. On the way bacvk, we had a peek inside the stadium built or the 1928 Olympic Games. (Two lesser known facts about the 1928 Games. 1) It was the first Olympic Games to feature the Olympic Torch, and 2) It was the first games which Coca Cola was a sponsor)

Hope School children spent the morning in lessons with British School of Amsterdam pupils. Our pupils were spread around five classes to find out more about living in the Netherlands.
How do lessons in the British School of Amsterdam compare to Hope School? How different was it?
Sorry if you’ve been experiencing technical difficulties when trying to post comments onto the blog. Everything should be working fine now.

We’re off to Zaanse Schans open air museum on Wednesday (after literacy and numeracy with the Year 5s).
We’ve had a very warm welcome from the staff and pupils of the British School of Amsterdam. Do take time to visit their Year 5 blog and leave a comment!
We visited Anne Frank’s house on Tuesday.
Some good websites can be found here and here. The Official Anne Frank House site is here.
We’re all settled in the British School of Amsterdam. Here are some messages from us! (Click on the
podcasts link to hear some of our messages).
